Climate action

• Implementation of one of North America's most aggressive climate action strategies to reduce B.C.'s greenhouse gas emissions by one-third by 2020

Environmental protection

• Protecting and managing some of the most spectacular ecosystems on the planet, including the habitat of the unique spirit bear

Embracing solutions

• All new government buildings or facilities will now be built to a minimum LEED Gold equivalent certification

• Development of clean energy sources and world-leading environmental technology industry

Our commitment to the environment stretches from the biologists and conservation officers on the front lines right through to all 30,000 members of the BC Public Service.
